The authors of the series about Czarolin created an amazing universe in which we get to know more and more magical animals from volume to volume. In addition, e.g. thanks to the heavily criminal thread – the atmosphere is getting really thick.
An inconspicuous science fiction course
Who would have thought that the participants of an extraordinary science fiction course would make so many surprising discoveries related to the mysteries of Vorn Island. Those that have seen the light of day so far have turned out to be terrifying, the next – predicted – also arouse fear in the reader! But not only … They also raise new, intriguing questions. The volume under review is one of the most important, because reading it allows you to answer the questions left in the previous volumes: what happened to Professor Baltazar? Who was Madame C once upon a time? Where are Czarolina and Merod from? Why do fantastic animals only live on the island of Vorn? Who and for what purpose brought the disciples here? The Lord of Vorn Island is the last volume of the first series of Czarolina’s adventures. The heroes stand shoulder to shoulder to save not only their friendship, but also their lives. Not everyone can survive in this terrible place.
Subjectively
The reader has no time to rest while reading. The multithreading of the story is closed on fifty or so pages, after which … we wait for what is still unplanned. The authors – as in the previous volumes – rush with the plot, leaving no time for reflection. It looks a bit like they are trying to patch all the plot holes with a few ideas at once, while providing the reader with entertainment at a high level. How is Czarolina read then ? With commitment, preferably not all at once, remembering that the next volumes will be released after some time. The release of the comic is just amazing. The cover shimmers as before. I assure you that Czarolina’s series of adventures looks beautiful on the shelf and is really worth having (or buying as a gift!)
End of first cycle
We have been reviewing the series of comic books about Czarolina’s adventures from the very beginning; mention should be made of the volumes: One day I will be a science fiction writer! , The Girl Who Loved Werewolves , The Mystery of My Origin , and The Bane . After reading the last – fourth – of them, it was hard to resist the impression that the story is ending. Few of us probably suspected that the authors – Sylvia Douyé and Paola Antista – still have plans for the future and the current number of volumes simply closes the first cycle of the Czarolina series . The end of the reviewed comic book – The Lord of Vorn Island – it really remains open and gives many opportunities for the development of individual threads. So we have something to wait for. May not be too long.
