Work on the next Netflix series will begin soon. This time we will see an adaptation of the DC comic entitled "Sweet Tooth" and "Łasuch" in Polish . Its producer was Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey.
Sweet Tooth is a comic book about a world where a strange disease has killed billions of people. She also made kids born with animal traits. The whole drama of this world, however, is that the epidemic has reduced human reproductive capacity. So there are very few young people, and those who are born, well, have antlers, cat ears and other features that make them look like animals.
The comic was created by Jeff Lemire and was originally published from 2009 to 2013 in 40 issues. In Poland, it is available
in three volumes by the Egmont Polska publishing house.

“Sweet Tooth” is a family-oriented and fairytale-like story about the adventures of Gus – half-deer, half-boy – who leaves his home in the woods and discovers that the world has been destroyed by a cataclysm. He joins a mixed family of people and their children, who are hybrids just like him, and learns a new reality and the mystery behind his unique origins.
Netflix has ordered eight episodes of the series, each one to be 60 minutes long. The screen will show, among others. : Christian Convery (“My Beautiful Son”, “Tiger Rising”, “Playing With Fire”) , Nonso Anozie ( “Zoo”, “Dracula,” Game of Thrones “ ). Jim Mickle ( “Hap
and Leonard”, “In the Shadow of the Moon” ) became the showrunner of the series .
