This morning, the highly anticipated trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder appeared on the Marvel Studios channel . Chris Hemsworth will return to the screen as the title character, this time accompanied by Christian Bale who will play the role of Gorra the Butcher of the Gods – a villain who wants to deal with all gods.
We finally got a new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder . In addition to Chris Hemsworth and Christian Bale, this famous production will also feature Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster).
Marvel announced the new Thor in 2019 at Comic-Con in San Diego, the same year shared with viewers the full title of the production and the news that Natalie Portman is returning to the MCU for the first time since Thor: The Dark World of 2013.
The new production is directed by Taika Waititi, whom we already know from previous film adventures of god – Thor: Ragnarok . She recently shared her feelings about the movie in an interview with Empire Magazine:
I wanted to explore the concept of love and show heroes who believe in love. It sounds a little embarrassing on paper, but there is a way to do it with cool characters, make a cool movie and at the same time give it something that no fan wants in a superhero movie, which is people talking about love and character kissing.
