Lucifer Morningstar returns for the fifth time in the penultimate season of "Lucifer" on Netflix.
As the new trailer showed, we will be introduced to a new member of the Lucifer family this season. Tom Ellis will be playing the dual role of Lucifer as well as his twin brother Michael. Michael has a grudge against his brother, so he plans to usurp Lucifer’s life on earth as revenge on him. As we learned from the announcement of the new season, Lucifer is locked in Hell and is looking for a way back to earth. We are going to get some episodes in Season 5 that we haven’t seen yet.
Season 4 ended with Lucifer back in Hell. However, before the return of Detective Chloe Decker ( Lauren German ), she confessed her love to him. How will their relationship continue?
Season 5 premiered on August 21.
