Guardians – perhaps the most important heroes in history
Guardians is a story set in an alternate world where superheroes are outlawed. Thanks to the appearance of the Rangers, the history of the United States and the world took a different course. The idea came from the irreplaceable Alan Moore , who reinterpreted classic archetypes and well-known themes. The Guardians is a multi-threaded and multi-level comic book with references to the world of politics, cultural changes, social inequalities, philosophy and the specter of nuclear war. By the way, we’re talking about the only comic mentioned by the prestigious Time magazineon the list of the hundred most important literary works of the last century. An extremely well-received original series from HBO was developed on the basis of a comic by Moore and Gibbons, and earlier Zack Snyder, one of the architects of the DC film universe, attempted to transfer the comic to the big screen. Rangers is a cult comic of great importance for the entire medium, which is also referred to by other artists creating the adventures of Batman or Superman.
