Źródło: oscar.go.com

The Oscars are behind us and we already know which titles were awarded with the statuettes. Among them there are fantasy titles, such as Dune which has been honored six times.

Dune (dir. Denis Villeneuve)

The first part of the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s science fiction novels not only attracted crowds to cinemas, but also won as many as six statuettes. The story of Paul Atryda (Timothée Chalamet) and his family who came to Dune, the most important planet in space, received awards for photography, music, special effects, editing, sound and set design. Encanto (dir. Jared Bush, Byron Howard)

The award for the best animation went to the Disney production entitled Our magical Encanto . The adventures of a Colombian family that uses magic powers attracts not only children, but also adults to the screens of cinemas and TV sets. What’s more, like every Disney animation, it is made in a very aesthetic way, pleasing the eye with colors as well as characters’ creations. We will also add that the film also won the title of the best animation in the Last Tavern Plebiscite! You can find our review of our magical Enacnto here .

No Time To Die (directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga)

Daniel Craig’s last performance as James Bond won the Best Song Award. No Time To Die (Billie Eilish). This time, Agent 007, who has theoretically passed off duty and lives a quiet life in Jamaica, unexpectedly receives his final mission from an old friend, Felix Leiter, of the CIA. Cruella (dir. Craig Gillespie)

Last year, the world learned the story of one of Disney’s evil characters – Cruelli de Mon (Emma Stone). The viewers liked the next plot, where the perspective of the later villain, known to the audience so far only from this negative side, matters. The film won a statuette for costumes, which are definitely one of the most important elements of this production. Our review can be found at this link .
