Vincent and the Doctor
I like episodes like DW. Here the Doctor and his companions organize a trip to admire the wonders of this world, he notices a detail during said trip, he gets into the TARDIS to investigate something that gives rise to a bigger thing.
In addition, of all the guest appearances, I liked Tony Curran’s appearance the most. Not only did he depart for a moment from the roles of shadowy types and thugs, but he also beautifully portrayed Vincent van Gogh, making me fully committed to his unusual perception of the world, and thus also his suffering.
In one of the apartments I rented, there was a reproduction of Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” glued to plywood, as it was done forty years ago. I was very tempted to add “For Amy” there… – Karolina Małas
