A well-known Bloodborne insider shared further evidence that there was a PC version in the past. For years, fans have been loudly telling Sony that they want the game to become the next installment of PlayStation ported to the computer. Currently, the company has moved titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn , God of War , Days Gone and Marvel’s Spider-Man, with Bloodborne remaining on the sidelines.
Through shared footage by Lance McDonald, it looks like the official Bloodborne PC images have been uploaded to the game’s Wikipedia page on Fandom. McDonald notes that the Oil Urns screenshots were uploaded to the site by Marcos Domenech, who previously worked at FromSoftware . Lance also added that these photos appear to be taken directly from the full PC version of Bloodborne , not just from the beta for that platform. As such, it seems clear that FromSoftware has launched such an installment of the game internally.
Of course, it’s worth pointing out that Bloodborne may have run on PC at some point doesn’t mean such a version of the game will ever be released to the public. Still, if what McDonald found is true, it begs the question of why PlayStation never sought to release the game in such a version. After all, such a release would certainly bring Sony a lot of money and publicity. With a new PlayStation reveal taking place in a few days on May 24, fans may be looking forward to some new announcements related to Bloodborne .
