Initially, it was assumed that the film would debut in theaters on March 24, but due to the global coronavirus epidemic, the premiere was postponed by 2 months. The film will be broadcast in 2 versions: with subtitles and dubbing.
“Artemis Fowl” is an adventure film set in a fantasy world based on the beloved novel by Eoin Colfer of the same title. It tells the story of a twelve-year-old genius, Artemis Fowl, who comes from a family that has been reigning in the criminal world for years. Its main goal is to find the mysteriously missing father. His loyal guardian, Butler, helps him in a difficult and dangerous mission. During their adventurous expedition, they encounter an ancient, extremely advanced world of fairies developing underground. The boy believes that his father’s disappearance is somehow related to a mysterious, isolated civilization. So he devises a cunning but dangerous plan and, over time, gets caught up in a dangerous game with all-powerful magical beings.
