“Zorro: Man of the Dead” – Sean Murphy reveals a new series of comics

Fragment serialu "Zorro" z 1957 wyprodukowanego przez wytwórnię Walta Disneya. W roli głównej Guy Williams

The hype surrounding  Sean Gordon Murphy’s new Zorro series is gaining significant momentum. On Wednesday, Massive Publishing announced that it was publishing a licensed series from the fan-favorite creator. Ahead of the October launch, Murphy will be present at San Diego Comic-Con to sign exclusive posters at the Massive booth.

The idea behind these comics is the meeting between Don Quixote and Narcos, told in a contemporary setting. Diego is a young man convinced that he is Zorro – as a child he had a nervous breakdown after witnessing the murder of his parents by a drug cartel in his village. To deal with this trauma, he revives the 200-year-old legend of Zorro by donning a mask, training with his sword, and waging war against Narcos to free his people.
