Initially, he wanted to become a writer. He even began training in this field at Columbia University. However, in the last year of American literature, he went to Paris for an international exchange. In addition to films, Jim Jarmusch also makes music videos. He once played the keyboard and sang in the band The Del-Byzanteens. In 2011, he recorded the album Concerning the Entrance into Eternity with Jozef van Wissem . A year later, their second album, The Mystery of Heaven , was released , recorded with Tilda Swinton.
