Channing Dungey, director of the Warner Television Group, confirmed in an interview with Deadline that Mindy Kaling is already working on the second season of the controversial animation. Unfortunately, journalists have not been able to find out at what stage the works are.
It is worth mentioning that the first installment of the series was not warmly received by the audience. Internet users massively criticized Velma for straying too far from the classic Scooby-Doo loved by everyone . Despite the huge views generated by the production, it was the worst-rated animation on IMDB, and on our Polish Filmweb it has only two stars out of ten available.
