Developers Firaxis Games and 2K revealed a new trailer for the upcoming video game under the Marvel brand, in which we see the main character and a completely new character – Hunter. Despite the recent game lag, the Marvel’s Midnight Suns promotion machine is still moving forward with gameplays and similar characters such as Captain Marvel. Hunter, however, is the most intriguing topic for them, considering the character is making his first appearance in an upcoming video game.
As the trailer indicates, Hunter is the daughter of Lilith, an immortal sorceress. However, beyond this story, the character can be highly customizable by the player. The new trailer that can be viewed below shows some of the customization options available in Marvel’s Midnight Suns .
As the plot of Marvel’s Midnight Suns goes, Hunter is the only child of an ordinary man and Lilith. When Father Hunter died of the plague centuries ago, Lilith was swallowed up by grief and eventually became the demigod of evil. Hunter was raised by her sister Lilith and eventually defeated Lilith to restore peace, dying in the process.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns takes place nowadays after Lilith was resurrected by Hydra with increased powers. Hunter, however, is also brought back to life and must once again fight his mother while dealing with inner demons.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is currently scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store before March 31, 2023. It was previously agreed that the premiere will take place on October 7. The playable characters shown in the title so far include – Hunter, Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Blade, Ghost Rider, Magician, Nico Minoru, Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch.
