Fans obviously liked the live-action version of the Winx cartoon series . In January 2021, the premiere of the first portion of the episodes took place, with the next installment in September this year. The series starred Hannah van der Westhuysen, Precious Mustapha, Abigail Cowen, Eliot Salt, Elisha Applebaum, Sadie Soverall, Freddie Thorp, Danny Griffin, Theo Graham, and Robert James-Collier. Interestingly, the Winx Saga was in Netflix’s Top 10 for five weeks at the time of its release. But unfortunately, even such an achievement is not enough in the face of the mysterious algorithm of this platform. Now, the future of the show for Young and the cast seems uncertain. Many productions have already been saved, but in this case it seems very unlikely.

This isn’t happy news, but Netflix [decided] not to continue Season 3 of Destiny: The Winx Saga. This is especially difficult because I know how many of you have loved the second season. I am proud of everyone who has worked on this series, and I am delighted that we were able to tell the story we have created. Our cast and crew have put a lot of hard work into creating this world and characters. I am grateful for each of them and for all of you watching. It’s been an amazing four years. Hope to see you again in the future.

Everything sounded promising for the next season.
The six episodes in season one only scratched the surface of this incredibly rich world and the powerful fairies that inhabit it. As Bloom’s story unfolds, I can’t wait to find out more about Aisha, Stella, Terra and Musa! And you never know who might turn up at Alfea next semester …

Winx bonds with viewers in the live action adaptation in the same way as in the animation. Over the years, we’ve seen the Winx grow into a global phenomenon, and millions of fans have followed the show faithfully. Thanks to this loyal support, Destiny: The Winx Saga is a huge worldwide success, and Netflix is working on a second season that will continue the story to the delight of fans and viewers around the world.
