The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in the design phase, says Todd Howard

When it comes to  The Elder Scrolls 6 , it is often suspected that the game is still a long way from the premiere, and the latest statement from Todd Howard, Executive Producer of Bethesda, seems to confirm this.

According to the developer, the title is currently in the design phase and the development team is “checking the technology” to make sure that it will cope with the production mechanics and the elements that are to appear in it. There are also plans to add a few enhancements to the Creation Engine 2 as this is what TES 6 needs to run smoothly.

Howard shared this information in an interview with The Telegraph . The conversation talked about the next installment of The Elder Scrolls, Starfield  and the latest game dedicated to Indiana Jones. As it is the continuation of Skyrim that  attracts the most attention from fans, it was naturally the main focus.

Unfortunately, however, only that much Todd Howard could reveal to ease the impatient anticipation of fans for the next news from their favorite series.

Since the amount of information on the title so far is quite limited, players are looking for clues about it in the announcement of The Elder Scrolls 6 published three years ago  and other publications from Bethesda. The setting of the newest game is of particular interest, especially since the series is known for its fantastic scenery scattered across different regions and continents. Therefore, a theory related to it has already appeared (see here ).

Another interesting issue is the availability of the game on individual platforms. Starfield , the first Bethesda game since the producer was acquired by Microsoft, will be released only on PC and Xbox consoles. Apparently, the same can be expected from the sequel to  Skyrim , although given the popularity of the series, things could change.
