It looks like the next game from Naughty Dog will be a real treat for gamers. Rumors suggest The Last of Us Part III .
Naughty Dog is known for creating fan-favorite games, including The Last of Us and Uncharted series. We know that a spin-off of the latter title is currently in the works, but many want to know what the studio’s next project is. Rumors and teasers suggest that it could be The Last of Us Part 3 ! In fact, it is now a total mystery.
With all that said, The Last of Us Part II co-director Kurt Margenau responded to a tweet from The Game Awards account asking what Naughty Dog’s favorite game was. Margenau simply replied “next” with a winking emoji. It’s not clear if this refers to a multiplayer or a single-player title, but either way, it has caused quite a stir and fans have started speculating on the subject. Only time will tell what it is, but hopefully it won’t be long before we find out for ourselves.
It’s been almost three years since Naughty Dog’s last brand new game, and we expect to hear about a multiplayer game later this year. However, the timeline for the next major project may still be years away. Naughty Dog is taking its time as it has only released three original PS4 games, one of which has been scheduled as DLC.
