Kearsley still has to digitize the project from his VHS cassette, so it won’t be released for at least a few weeks. It also remains to be seen if there may be any legal obstacles. Kingdom Hearts series series is in a completely different place today than it was in 2003, so it would be interesting to see what elements are faithful to the first game and how the narrative might deviate from the source material.
If Kearsley manages to publish his animation after all these years, many Kingdom Hearts fans will surely enjoy it ! For now, we’ll all just have to wait.
