Creator of The Suicide Squad , James Gunn was given a free hand in the selection of characters – super villains from DC comics, so that the team of heroes he created could cope with the risky task that will be the axis of the film’s action . Gathered from the toughest prison in the United States, they will take on a do or die challenge just to have a chance to regain freedom. Armed to the teeth, they land on the small island of Corto Maltese, which is swarming with enemies. Their chances of survival are slim, but for good reason they have been hailed as the greatest threat to order in the past and will not give up easily. Will their mission be successful? The viewers will find out for themselves, accompanying the heroes during a screening full of action and humor.
In the cast of The Suicide Squad featured a galaxy of stars: Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, John Cena as Peacemaker and Pete Davidson as Blackguard. Each of the characters has been carefully refined at the stage of creating the scenario, so that the viewer has to consider whether most of them are 100 percent evil or if, on the contrary, mitigating circumstances can be found for them.
DCEU fans are eagerly awaiting the film, placing great hopes on the talented James Gunnie, who is famous for his production of Guardians of the Galaxy and is perfectly at home in this type of productions. The more that in the case of The Suicide Squad, he received a lot of artistic freedom from the producer.
The film Beauty and the Butcher will also premiere in Cinema City on August 6 , its action based on the popular cinema theme of changing bodies between characters. This time 17-year-old Millie (Kathryn Newton known from the movie Neighbors ) wakes up not in her body, but in the body of a murderer, who chose her as a victim. The girl only has 24 hours before the change becomes permanent and she will be imprisoned forever. The problem is that now she looks like a powerful psychopath who hunts humans, while The Butcher (played by Vince Vaughn) looks like her and discovers that having a teenage female body can be quite a cover for his murderous passion.
