Jeff Sneider has revealed that 3 new movies will likely be announced during the Star Wars Celebration event. What can Star Wars fans expect?

The future of the Star Wars universe is at an interesting impasse. The saga unfolds in many ways on television, but there is no blockbuster movie since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker so far . 2019 revival . However, that doesn’t mean the projects weren’t presented as opportunities, as many films have been in development for many years. With the recent release on shelves of two of these in-development films,  Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Patty Jenkins and the currently untitled Kevin Feige and Michael Waldron film, there has been much speculation about what movie might now become a reality. A new report by Jeff Sneider from  The Hot Mic podcastexplains in the latest episode that three new Star Wars movies could be announced at the Star Wars Celebration convention next month.

I’ve been told three movies, three movies will be announced at Star Wars Celebration. [The Sharmeed Obaid-Chinoy movie] is a great movie, not just for Star Wars, but for Kathleen Kennedy herself. So I was told Kathleen Kennedy’s entire job depends on whether the film will be in theaters on Christmas Day 2025. If there is no movie on Christmas 2025, there is no work.

What will be the next Star Wars movie?

Rumors suggest Sharmeed Obaid-Chinoy’s currently untitled film could be the next movie on board for Star Wars. Earlier this week, it was revealed that co-writers Damon Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson had left the project, and  Peaky Blinders ‘ Stephen Knight  had been hired to rewrite the script. In addition, there was talk of a film directed, co-written and possibly starring Taika Waititi.

All I will say is that for reasons I cannot comment on this Sunday morning, the degree of difficulty is extremely, extremely, extremely high on this day. If it can’t be great, it shouldn’t exist. That’s all I’ll say because I have the same association with it as you, that is, it’s the first movie I saw sitting on my dad’s lap, four years old, May 1977. I think it’s possible that sometimes when you have so much reverence and respect for something, you start walking into the kitchen and just saying, “Maybe I shouldn’t cook. Maybe I should just eat.” We’ll just leave it at this point.
