The (very) short film Puppy debuted in 2017. Now Sony Pictures Animation has released the production in its entirety on its YouTube Tube.
It is a story about how little Dennis wants a dog, and Grandpa Dracula, unable to look at his grandson’s tears, brings him a “pet” the size of a locomotive.
The concept behind this dog was that I started sketching what I would like to do … I scribbled in completely raw lines and somehow it turned out to be a huge, weird bulldog-style dog looking like a little monster. Then I showed it to Craig Kellman and he started making his drawings and eventually he made a final project that shows the giant bulldog monster –
the director, Genndy Tartakovsky, spoke then.
The publication of the film in its entirety is to remind fans that the premiere of Hotel Transylvania 4 is approaching more and more (despite the delays caused by closing everything due to the coronavirus) . This time, Tartakovsky will not direct, he will be replaced by the duo Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon. Kluska (a familiar-sounding name!) Has already worked on previous films in the series, and Drymon was the writer on the cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants.
As for the cast, time will tell if the original cast will make a comeback. Birds chirp that Selena Gomez will be back as Mavis and she will be executive producer.
For now, we can recall this cute less than 5-minute cartoon.
