The main cast for Black Adam has now been revealed. We know that the title character will be played by Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo will play the Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge will be seen as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell will appear as the Cyclone. We don’t know who Marwan Kenzari ( The Old Guard ) and Sarah Shahi ( Impersonaln i) will play yet . The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the antagonist and another member of the Justice Society of America – Doctor Fate – will be played by Pierce Brosnan himself, known for, among other things, the cult role of James Bond. An entry appeared on Brosnan’s instagram confirming cooperation with the Black Adam team along with a photo of Dr Fate.
While many different versions of Doctor Fate have appeared in DC Comics before, Brosnan will play the role of Kent Nelson, the original character from More Fun Comics and All Star Comics . Equipped with the Cloak of Destiny, the Amulet of Anubis and the Helm of Fate which gives him the most power. Given the range of skills Nelson possesses (time manipulation, resurrection, telepathy, teleportation – and that’s not even half of it) director Jaume Collet-Serra will have a lot to show off by creating a strong hero who will not be easy to defeat. Earlier information appeared that DC and Warner Bros. they have “big” plans for Dr. Fate.
Black Adam does not currently have a release date as it has been postponed many times due to the coronavirus pandemic.
