The creators of the series announced on social media that new information about the 2nd season will appear on January 31. It is not really known what exactly they will be about. Can we expect the first official trailer?
The first season of Invincible was a huge success for Prime Video, which is why Amazon renewed it for two more seasons. Robert Kirkman , the creator of the comics on which the adult animated series is based, co-creates the production with Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley.
Recently, an important entry for fans of the series appeared on Twitter. Using memes containing frames from various episodes, they announce new information. However, apart from the fact that the announcement is to appear on January 31, nothing is really known. Some hope for confirmation of the release date or the first official trailer. Look below:
What does Kirkman say about the show?
Sometimes I adapt the comic very closely, and sometimes I make a lot of distinctions. I think most of the first seven are original to the series. There are huge chunks of each episode that aren’t in the comics at all. I think there are even episodes 1 and 8 that I wrote, so I guess they were probably a bit more comic-like than some of the other episodes. There are large chunks of these episodes that are entirely original to the show. I believe because it’s so consistent and because some people haven’t read the comics in a while, they think, “Oh yeah. It’s exactly like in the comics.” So I think some people think it’s a little closer to the comic book than it really is.
The first season of Invincible is available to watch on Prime Video!
