Horror Insidious: The Red Door , the sequel to the Insidious series , has received its first look at the sequel in the form of a poster. The trailer is also due out this week.
One of the most anticipated horror games of the year is the upcoming Insidious: The Red Door. Not only is it the first entry into the franchise since 2018’s Insidious: The Last Key , it also marks the return of stars Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne to cinemas. The movie got its first poster! This is only the first installment of the sequel, as the first trailer is also set to debut this week, giving viewers some of their first official glimpses of the project.
The original film was about the Lambert family, where Dalton (Ty Simpkins) suffers an injury that makes him the target of a supernatural threat. When Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) tries to offer help, we learn how Dalton’s (Wilson) father was similarly targeted by a supernatural being in his childhood. The new film aims to explore how the Lamberts deal with the events that happened 10 years earlier when Dalton was going to college.
[Wilson] really wanted to do it about an origin story, about the original cast, about those characters and the impact on the family. And then delve into classic horror, all the tropes and all the stuff fans love to give them what they want. So it was really cool to reconnect with Ty [Simpkins]. I felt a thrill. It was great fun.

Look, I’d say there’s always room for everything, really. It’s Hollywood, right? But I think it would be a question of whether Ty would want to delve into it again. Patrick and me too. It would be really interesting, but now I’m curious how it will turn out and how the fans will like it.
