The Good Omen miniseries was released in 2019, and fans were surprised by last year’s news that Amazon was planning to do a second season. The show is based on a 1990 book written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and the duo never made a sequel before Pratchett died in 2015. Gaiman is heavily involved in the new season, however, serving as the screenwriter and executive producer of the project. Production of the series ended in May, and news of the show’s premiere in summer 2023 was announced this weekend at the New York Comic-Con.
