Zane Obispo spends time on a beautiful island, away from the world, with family and friends. Unfortunately, despite favorable circumstances, the hero’s life is far from perfect. All thanks to recently discovered powers that he is unable to control. Add to this the matters of the heart and the upcoming rescue mission and the dangers awaiting the children of the semi-divine approach, and the image of another dangerous expedition appears before your eyes.

Once again, the heroes of the novel should be distinguished. Each of them is different, has its own values ​​and you can like them on the go. In addition, JC Cervantes serves the reader to stimulate the imagination of descriptions of places, as well as emotions that torment the characters. The author is also able to loosen tension with an unobtrusive sense of humor. The reader is also attacked by numerous twists and turns. For those who have forgotten the past fate of the characters (I belong to this group), they have been slightly refreshed. Thanks to this, I was able to follow developments with pleasure and did not feel lost.

Zane is still an insecure teenager who is eager to help those in need. He has gotten rid of some of his complexes and has not lost his sense of humor. After the last skirmishes, he is much more cautious about offers of help from the gods. Once again, we also have the impression of communing with a natural hero, on whom the burden of saving the world has fallen. During her adventure, Zane makes mistakes and has to deal with their consequences. Cervantes managed to create a great main character. The other characters are also a pleasure to read about.

Books published under the banner of Rick Riordan introduces me have not yet disappointed me. And I feel it won’t change anytime soon. Fire Keeper is a suspenseful and colorful sequel to one of the best youth books I have read. I wonder what else the author can come up with.
