Madeleine Roux is the author of the best-selling New York Times series Asylum , which is currently sold in eleven countries. In addition, the American also created the House of Furies and Allison Hewitt Is Trapped series , and wrote the following novels: Salvaged , Traveler and The Shining Blade . In the past, Roux has worked on Star Wars and World of Warcraft . Her latest novel, published in Poland, is entitled The Book of Living Secrets and is a compilation of Roux’s unusual ideas. The world of your favorite novel

Readers’ dreams usually do not come true. They do not transfer to the world of their favorite book, the plot complexities do not materialize. When Adele and Connie are persuaded by the curiosity shop owner to enter the book universe, they don’t believe anything bad can happen. Unexpectedly, however, they are transferred to the world of Moira, the heroine of the girls’ favorite gothic novel. This initially unusual adventure turns into a no less unusual and tangible experience. In Moira’s world, the characters are tangible, as if alive. Their intrusion into the book changes a lot in their lives, and they know that something extremely dark will not leave them now.

The Jaguar publishing house delighted me with the latest offer. Roux created heroes whose adventures we follow with bated breath, and the translation of Stanisław Kroszczyński, known from Spells Trouble. Wiedźmiego Czaru , a series about Arsène Lupine and Scouts , enables a better understanding of the emotions of the protagonists (a masterpiece!). Publication of the Book of Living Secretsenchants – the cover heralds the subject, and shiny elements attract the eyes of potential readers (Magdalena Zawadzka / Aureusart, thanks!). Inside, the use of bottle green is delightful, a color that blends perfectly with the color of the paper. The novel consists of thirty-eight chapters, an epilogue and thanks – you don’t need anything else, I assure you. If you are a fan of horror fiction, you can’t resist the book’s charm!
