Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga story, Yu Yu Hakusho , will be adapted on Netflix. The series, the shooting of which began in the summer of 2021, will not appear until December 2023, but as the streaming platform informs, they will keep you informed about the progress of work.

Kazutaka Sakamoto is executive producer of the upcoming series, while Akira Moria (Wild 7, Brave Heart Umizaru), on behalf of Robot, serves as producer. The works are carried out at TOHO Studios. The Yu Yu Hakusho manga was released in 1990–1994, and an animated adaptation of the title was broadcast in 1992–1995.
The story of the series begins when 14-year-old Yusuke Urameshi, a delinquent known for his scandalous attitude at school and brawls with local bullies, is hit by a car and dies saving the child. The Lord of the Underworld gives Yusuke the possibility of a resurrection, and later makes him one of the “detectives” at his service. In the meantime, Yusuke discovers his powers and meets future comrades-in-arms with whom he will experience many adventures and risk his life more than once to save the world.
