Microsoft challenged Sony and was the first to show what games can look like on the new Xbox.
A special broadcast from the Inside Xbox series has just ended. As promised, Microsoft showed materials presenting the graphics that the next generation console, the Xbox Series X, will be able to provide. The most anticipated of the games shown was, of course, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla . Unfortunately, in the case of the title devoted to Vikings, we did not receive a full-fledged gameplay, but only a short teaser to show the capabilities of the game engine.
Another noteworthy production is undoubtedly The Medium from the Polish studio Bloober Team. The game, shown for the first time, is a psychedelic horror film set in Krakow at the end of the 20th century. So far, it is difficult to say anything about the mysterious plot. It is certain that the players will play the role of a young woman tormented by visions of a murdered child. One of the studio’s main inspirations is the Silent Hill cycle . It is no coincidence that Akira Yamaoka – a composer known for his work on soundtracks to Konami horror films – was involved in the production. This is not the end of the famous people cooperating with the Bloober Team for The Mediumi . The game features digital versions of Weronika Rosati and Marcin Dorociński.
