“Secret Invasion” is one of the series announced during Disney Investor Day 2020. It will feature characters already known in the MCU – Nick Fury and Talos – and now the working title is also known.
According to the information available on the Murphy’s Multiverse blog , the Marvel series is entitled Changeup Productions , which translates as “change production”. It is not certain that this particular project is under the name, but it does fit in with the announced timeline for the development of new MCU elements.
Just giving a working title is nothing unusual – apart from Changeup Productions , 6 others are known, which mark the upcoming Marvel productions. However, this is information that could attract the interest of fans waiting for the show. Another news regarding the Secret Invasion was given by Kevin Feige ahead of the launch of WandaVision . When asked about possible references to a future production on the show, he denied and added:
There were more characters in the Secret Invasion comic book series than in Endgame . It’s not what we’re about, but rather introducing Sam Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn and getting into the paranoid elements of the Secret Invasion comics , where there were some great twists. We definitely prefer to focus on this rather than on the “let’s hit even more characters than into Endgame ” approach
So it looks like we shouldn’t expect a big crossover, but you can definitely expect some good entertainment.
