Wolverine: Pablo Schreiber is in talks with Marvel

Pablo Schreiber recently confessed that he is in contact with Marvel and plans to take over the role of Wolverine from Hugh Jackman. In a recent podcast interview, Bingeworthy admitted that he is open to any suggestions from Marvel about his joining the MCU. Producer Kevin Feige, who is responsible for the long-awaited reboot of the X-Men universe, held talks with the actor.

Pablo Schreiber is known for his productions like Halo, Orange is the New Black and American Gods. Already in 2017, after Hugh Jackman’s last appearance as Wolverine in the movie Logan , in an interview with ComicBook , Schreiber expressed his desire to participate in another production about a mutant with claws. He also said that as a child he was a huge fan of Wolverine.

At various points in my career, I had a lot of conversations with Marvel, the actor confessed. – We’ve never been able to find me the right role at the right time, but for that [Wolverine’s role – ed. ed.] I am most open. I think I’m on the right path and I don’t know exactly what it is, but I will find out in time.

It would be fantastic, this casting is a dream come true. Wolverine has always been my favorite character, since I was a child I liked his comics the most – said Schreiber.

Last year, Hugh Jackman confirmed that although he played Wolverine from 2000 to 2017, Logan was his last appearance in the role.
