Wolverine , one of the few mutants still walking around New York, hopes to defeat Orchis once and for all. But to do this, he will need a little help, which will come in the form of Captain America. In a new preview released by Marvel, Wolverine comic #38 – which will be released on the upcoming New Comic Book Day – will show the titular mutant team with Steve Rogers as the two hoping to crush the anti-mutant conglomerate.
In a teaser from the House of Ideas, the two meet at a bar and Wolverine explains how he has managed to avoid capture by Orchis so far.

This is the second issue of the Last Mutant Standing story arc , leading directly into the long-awaited Sabretooth Wars arc starting in January .
A detailed description of Marvel’s Sabretooth War can be found below:
It’s a war that has been going on for decades, and it begins when Sabretooth resurrects a deadly tradition – with some of Logan’s loved ones caught in the crossfire. Only this time he has an entire army behind him. Prepare for the battle to end all wars: Wolverine vs. Sabretooth! Many years have passed since these ancient enemies crossed paths in the Marvel Universe, but with the fall of Krakoa, Sabretooth rises – and seeks revenge! They threw Victor Creed into the Abyss, but now he is free and, wielding an army of Sabretooths, he will prove once and for all why he is Logan’s ultimate enemy.
