Tell Me gathers teams before embarking on new adventures! Both RPG veterans and those ready to start their story are invited to participate in winter sessions. We especially encourage children and young people who are wondering how to spend their holidays.
Unfortunately, most of this year we watched from behind the window panes. We watched spring, summer and fall like a beautiful movie, sitting safely at home and missing each other for something different. Now, with the first snow, another question has come down to us, namely – what about winter?
Winter, however, is saved. For every RPG lover, gifts for this time are provided by the Tell Me language school, the best forge of adventures on the Polish fantasy market.
Tell Me the Sobie
Tell Me is an English school, founded on the belief that anyone can learn the language, and the best way to learn… well, whatever it is, storytelling. The project started in 2008, when, as an experiment, several teachers decided to use RPG methods in the classroom. The effects surpassed even the wildest expectations – the quietest opened up, students who had a problem with concentration closely followed the development of history, and those who were not sure of their language skills before conducted bold, rich dialogues. From the beginning, it was a concern for them, for students who were convinced by the faulty education system that they could not learn the language, who gave up due to poor grades and boring exercises in the textbook. And that’s how it started …
Out of passion for games and rebellion against exclusion, our team created the Tell Me English School . Using an alternative method of teaching a foreign language, we have been teaching both children aged 11 and over 60 since 2014 .
Led by (great!) Game masters, the stories engage the emotions, thinking and creativity of students-players who are surrounded by an interesting system and assume the role of their own creation. The communication barrier disappears by itself, as in the throes of events, the desire to communicate effectively is much stronger than the fear of making a mistake. Spontaneity in speaking and focusing on the scenario, however, does not mean that traditional elements of science are ignored. Grammar, vocabulary and written expression are also part of the course , thanks to carefully designed exercises, Quizlet kits and story requirements such as writing character backstory or secret letters to smugglers friends …
Winter adventure in Tell Me
Currently, all courses in the school year are conducted online . However, this does not limit the offer, where you can find a full range of possibilities. Ahead of us is winter holidays , organized on a common date for the whole of Poland, but spent under the banner of safe rest at home. Problems with planning free weeks (with a narrow offer of projects such as Winters in the city or children’s and youth camps) raise concerns about whether this time will be successful. Parents who will not be able to provide their children with constant entertainment are particularly concerned.
As an alternative to computer games and reading books for the next semester, Tell Me offers online RPG courses, both in English and Polish . The winter campaign will consist of daily three-hour sessions led by some of the best Game Masters in Poland. Especially for this occasion, an additional, very careful recruitment of new Storytellers was carried out. Each of them invites you to a different, unique world, to experience a one-of-a-kind story, created together by him and the players. The groups differ in terms of systems, language level (for games in English) and hours (English 10:00 or 13:30, and Polish 10:00, 13:30 or 17:00).
Holidays with RPG is an adventure in the form of stories. The participant creates the hero of this story and guides him through the fantastic world, deciding on his actions. Together with other players, he forms a team, sets out on a mission and faces adversities. Maybe he will overcome his fear and become a hero? The adventure takes place in a virtual world. Participants in a group of 3 to 6 people connect with the Leader – the Game Master during the videoconference. He will invite them to the world of imagination and lead the adventure in Polish or English.
More information about the winter course and the course price list are available on the Tell Me school website . Registration for permanent groups for the summer semester is also open – adults are also invited.
Students about Tell Me
Why go on an adventure with Tell Me?
It is thanks to Tell Me that I really fell in love with English. I joined them just before I graduated (which would have been terrible for me if it hadn’t been for the sessions) and stayed for years. Before that, I hated English, today I use it every day.

In my opinion, Tell Me is a great English school for people who like to learn things in a non-standard way or just like rpg. Even before I started learning with Tell Me, I knew English well – but I learned a lot from them, things like vocabulary and to be more confident when I speak English.

Tell Me is a course that looks at language learning from a completely new perspective. Instead of forcing you to write nonsensical sentences, read boring texts, or repeat over and over again one time, he pays attention to what is really important – the ability to have a free conversation. The form of the rpg game effectively forces you to express yourself precisely and clearly. I would recommend this course to people who have mastered the basics of English a long time ago and are looking for ways to improve their language skills. A passion for RPGs is also mandatory, but it’s probably not that difficult.

RPG courses in Tell Me – this is probably the best type of course I have ever had. On it, he learns English (how to talk, grammar) through an RPG game with people I have never known, who are connected by a desire to learn English and to play role-playing games. This course is good for beginners in both subjects as well as for more advanced learners. I would definitely recommend it to everyone, especially people who like RPGs but have problems with English and beginners in such games (like me).

RPG in English language courses are the result of several years of work by the Tell Me team. We are proud of the developed methods of working with young and adult students. Thanks to the story, we manage to focus the student on communication. RPG gives you a chance for a real simulation of an English-speaking adventure. Feel free to play and develop!
