All five parts of The Final Destination so far have been based on the same idea. The main character has a vision of horrific events that will result in the death of a lot of people. Some people save lives with the warning, but this is only the beginning of the nightmare. Kostucha does not give up and mows the survivors one by one … The first part tells about the plane crash, 2. about the accident on the highway, 3. about the failure of the rollercoaster, 4. the accident on the racetrack, and 5. crash on the bridge. Attentive viewers will notice that all the parts come together subtly.
We have the latest news on the next movie in the “Final Destination” series. It turns out that the production is in progress, unfortunately it has been temporarily stopped by the COVID-19 virus.
The new part of the franchise will not be a sequel in the traditional sense of the word. She is to be cast in the new world. Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick mysteriously stated that
death can catch us in many ways.
But what else can you think of? This time, the main characters will not be young people. The action is to take place in:
… a world of paramedics, firefighters and the police. These people face death on the front lines every day and make choices that can cause people to live or die. We rely on their common sense, knowledge and calm behavior. So why not put these people in a horrible situation where any choice could bring life and death – but now for themselves?
Producer Craig Perry adds:
if the formula isn’t broken, don’t fix it.
