Cyberpunk has turned out to be a thematic gold mine in recent years: we had Blade Runner , Upgrade and Cyberpunk 2077. Each of these works turned out to be a hit in their own way. Arcane , an animated series set in the world of League of Legends , also tells a story in this setting and was also very successful. Since the animation was beautiful, the story was generally considered rather good, and the series ended with one of the most cheeky cliff hangers in history – there had to be a second part. Not that the plot doesn’t need it – most of the threads are left unfinished, so the second part is absolutely necessary.
Not everyone remembers the hype that accompanied the first season of Arcane . Known for its amazing graphics and obviously a lot of money thrown at the artists, Riot released an entire animated series. People literally scratched off any spoilers from the texts of the characters in the game, from the voice actors hired for the series, from recent events in the lore – all this because the premiere of the series was prolonged. Therefore, it is not known how seriously the first announced date should be treated, but it will probably be worth the wait, no matter how long the release date is.
