According to the so far unconfirmed information from one of the Twitter users, Konami is preparing refreshed versions of the first three parts of Metal Gear Solid . The person who uses the pseudonym Dusk Golem has been dealing with topics related to the gaming industry for some time. The latest reports are an extension of the topic already raised by the VGC website.
Initial reports suggested that there would be only a new version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater . Dusk Golem, referring to its sources, is sure that the remasters of the three games are already being prepared. Moreover, Konami allegedly plans to sell the titles both separately and in bundles.
So far, these are only unconfirmed rumors, but given the iconic status of the series, it’s hard to believe that these games have not yet hit the current or previous generation of consoles. Another interesting issue is the complete omission of the fourth installment of the series in this report. Since Sony turned off the PlayStation Now streaming service, this title can only be played on PlayStation 3.
