The Giant Freakin Robot website was the first to report everything. The production is to be interested in Netflix, which is working quite intensively on the adaptations of such series of games as Resident Evil , Castlevania and Assassin’s Creed . For now, unfortunately, there are no details about what the adaptation of Dishonored would be – a series or a movie. This news has not yet been confirmed, so for now it should be treated with a grain of salt.
The series from Arkane and Bethesda already has strong Hollywood ties, thanks to the cast of the games. They lent their voices, among others Carrie Fisher, Chloë Grace Moretz, Susan Sarandon or Vincent D’Onofrio. This is only some of the known names that were featured in both editions and a standalone story expansion – Death of the Outsider .
The first part of Dishonored debuted in 2012. The title is a non-linear action game with stealth elements. The action took place in a country inspired by Victorian Great Britain. The main character was Corvo Attano, the protector of the ruling family, who is framed for the murder of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin. While in prison, he is visited by a mysterious Outsider. A character with supernatural abilities offers Corvo to help clear up the charges. The protagonist receives a number of magical abilities, including teleportation, slowing down time and summoning swarms of rats. With new powers, Corvo sets out to bring the conspirators to justice.
