The cult animated series X-Men from the 90s is available on the Disney + platform from November.
In the years 1992-1997, 5 seasons (76 episodes in total) of the adventures of mutant superheroes known from the Marvel comics were created.
Already in June last year (with the premiere of X-Men: Dark Phoenix ) rumors surfaced about the show’s resumption and that its producer and director Larry Houston would like the story to continue where it ended.
On Friday, during a virtual panel at Wizard World Virtual Experiences 2020, attended by Cal Dodd (Wolverine / Logan), George Buza (Beast / Hank McCoy), Chris Britton (Nathaniel Essex / Mister Sinister) and Larry Houston, it was revealed that talks with Disney + about possible cooperation on the continuation of the series. It is not known whether it will happen. As Houston himself says:
We talked and that’s basically it. (…) We had talks and they have to make a decision, but we let them know that we are all available for whatever they would like to do in the future.
