Ben Affleck was reportedly spotted on the set of Deadpool 3 . Does this mean that the actor will return to Marvel’s production and reprise his role as Daredevil?
Less than a year before the release of Deadpool 3 in theaters , there are more and more rumors about the production. Fans can be sure that Ryan Reynolds will appear on the screen as the titular Deadpool, and Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine. Who else will star in the new Marvel production? Well, the latest news reports that Ben Affleck, who previously played Matt Murdock/Daredevil, has also joined the cast.
According to KC Walsh (via Cinemablend), Affleck was spotted on the set of Deadpool 3 (shooting began in England last month). From the same source we learn that “it is not known who Affleck would play”. The actor has certainly not been seen in the costume of the famous superhero. Earlier, various sources claimed that the stars of the X-Men series (including Ian McKellen as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier and Halle Berry as Storm) and 2005’s Fantastic Four may also appear in the film . At the moment, however, nothing has been confirmed, and each of the information, including the latest, remains only rumors.
Let’s add that still not much is known about the script for Deadpool 3 . Reportedly, Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Zeb Wells are still working on it. It was recently revealed that the film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.
