Marisa Tomei, the actress who plays the role of May Parker in the Spider-Man series, recently spoke about the potential future very special character in the MCU movies. Is there any chance that Peter’s aunt will still appear on the screen?
During the interview on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon , a question arose about Multiverse. Every time we talk about parallel worlds, the idea of returning even a dead character does not have to seem absurd. As for Tomei, the actress confessed that she would love to return to Marvel films in some character. Since there are apparently plans to introduce Multiverse also in productions from Sony, the actress’s return is not out of the question.
Oh yes, there is Multiverse. It was originally part of the secret, but now everyone knows it. But the point was, if someone asked me, I didn’t quite understand the rules myself. I even asked our great director Jon: So where am I now? Can you explain everything to me again? – Tomei stated during the interview
Later in the conversation with Jimmy Fallon, the actress said:
I would like to come back to this world and be a part of it. May Parker could have a relationship with Ant-Man. There are also many other possibilities.
Interestingly, in the previous comment on Collider, the star lamented taking the role of Aunt May. She felt somewhat pigeonholed.
I really regret taking this path and I really regret starting to do so. I let myself be persuaded to do so, but always felt that I could play many other roles. I think every actor and actress has many dimensions and I feel that I am now assigned to one role. It might not be the right way, but you know, I’m trying to make the best of it. – explained Tomei during an interview for The King of Staten Island.
