Ronald Bilius Weasley was born on March 1, 1980. He grew up in a purebred family as the youngest of 6 brothers. He also had a sister, Ginny, who was a year younger, who eventually became involved with his best friend Harry. He grew up in a small house called Nora by everyone, which was located near the town of Ottery St. Catchpol. He did not come from a wealthy family, which made him feel inferior to his peers many times. Everything he owned was second-hand. Even his rat, Parszywek (later Peter Pettigrew), previously belonged to his older brothers.
At Hogwarts, like the rest of his family, he was assigned to Gryffindor. There he quickly made friends with the famous Harry Potter. Although they were the closest people to each other at school, Ron repeatedly manifested envy of the popularity of the chosen one. As the youngest son, he got used to being overshadowed by others who were better than himself. However, the feeling intensified when no one noticed him in front of his famous friend.
Ron, however, has repeatedly demonstrated his cleverness, quick-thinking ability, courage and dedication. It was he who came up with the idea of destroying horcruxes with the tusk of a dead basilisk, he always supported Harry and even during their quarrels, he wanted to give him a clue for the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. He was not afraid to stand up for his friends, even if it was a confrontation with the terrible Professor Snape. Also thanks to him, Harry Potter finally found out what it means to have a family. Ron treated him like a brother and made his friend feel accepted in the Weasley family and in his own way gave his friend a second home. Despite how underestimated he felt in the family, he tried to give its members the best and took care of their safety as much as he could.
His relationship with Hermione is also underestimated. While they don’t seem to match each other completely, they actually complement each other perfectly. Ron is good at things Hermione has a hard time with, such as Quidditch and chess, and she helps him with science, for example. It is also worth mentioning that Ron would do anything for Hermione and would probably rather die himself if it were to save her life.
