According to unofficial information provided by the Redanian Intelligence portal , in the latest season of The Witcher we will get to know the profiles of two Nilfgaardian generals – Hake and Gerhen.
Although this information is not officially confirmed by the creators of the series, Jo Mariott, previously known from such productions as Modern Love or In the name of Ben Hur , will most likely play the role of general Hake . As General Gerhen, we will see Darius James, who was previously involved in stage projects in Great Britain. The two actors have been seen together on the set, but it is not yet certain whether we will see them in the roles of two Nilfgaardian military men.

Jo Mariott is set to appear in two episodes, directed by Louise Hooper. She has also appeared in numerous historical documentaries such as Joan of Arc, After the Hunt – Mysteries Beneath Our Feet, and The Private Lives of the Tudors. Thanks to this, she is familiar with horse riding or the use of a sword in combat scenes. If the reports of the Redanian Intelligence portal prove to be true, then he is definitely the right person for the role of a military general.
Less obvious seems to be the participation of Darius James, about whom we know little. Although it is assumed that he is to play the role of the second general of Nilfgaard, it is likely that we will see him playing a different character.
