Taking advantage of the popularity of The Walking Dead , another series was created – Fear the Walking Dead , and today I want to invite you to a small approximation of what will happen in the first three episodes of the latest installment, which is scheduled to premiere on May 15.
Something starts and then ends
The eighth season will be the last of Fear The Walking Dead , and you have to admit that it evokes some nostalgia. If you like such topics, you were happy to follow the fate of the characters, regardless of whether the series had ups or downs. Fact, many people stayed out of pure sentiment, mainly for their favorite heroes. Often it was they who aroused the greatest fear, or perhaps more their decisions and actions. Zombies are a kind of background for human character. For so long, there were also many farewells, but also making interesting acquaintances or alliances. I think everyone knows what makes Fear The Walking Dead fun.

There are also characters that seem literally immortal, nothing can kill them. One of them is Madison, who returns once again and at the same time is of great importance from the very first episode. Once again, PADRE appears with his nefarious activities, that is, kidnapping children.
Adventure with time
The story is circular, but it is intriguing from the very beginning. We move forward seven years from the last finale. It was then that Morgan and Madison tried their best to save Mo from his fate in the PADRE ranks; failed, and now they all live under his rule. Suddenly, the girl will have to find a lot of faith and self-denial to restore hope to the rest. AMC has decided to split the last season into two parts, each with six episodes, to boost the excitement even more and give a dignified farewell.

Lets start with…
The first episode is called Remember What They Took From You and is very suggestive and well suited to what is going on. Although this is not an episode full of fireworks and action to which the creators have accustomed us, it did not turn out the worst either. Morgan and Madison haven’t changed at all since last season and are trying to cope with life under PADRE. The change that saves the whole is the character of Mo, who is already more mature, begins to notice inaccuracies, does not blindly follow the tasks. You can see that he desires justice and fights bravely against adversity, not taking everything for granted. The creators put a lot of work into this episode, and although many theories are far-fetched, they managed to explain unresolved issues.
We move on quickly
So we move on to the second installment, which will appear on May 21, and is called Blue Jay . In this episode, we meet June, Sherry and Dwight again. You could say there are elements of flashback to what happened, where they are now, what they’ve been doing for so many years. I must admit that some descriptions caused a shiver of disgust and sadness, and a lot has changed during this time. The episode is full of despair, tragedy and darkness. It was shown how they handled it all individually. I can’t tell you too much, but it is a very good installment that makes you think, and the game of Jenny Elfman, i.e. June, does not disappoint and introduces the atmosphere.

Third time lucky
I must admit that the pace and development of the story are well-chosen, there is no room for unnecessary lengths, and the main violin is played by PADRE. Especially in the third episode, about the title Odessawhen we get answers to many bothering questions about the creation of this place and others that viewers ask themselves. This is an interesting episode in which there is a flashback and showing how it was before. Here a lot of attention was paid to Shrike, who thanks to her actions achieved the name of a ruthless woman. He blindly believes in the rightness of PADRE and does not consider any mistake. She is a repulsive character, and Maya Eshet portrayed her very well. I often had the impression that she was like a robot without feelings, her face seemed to be carved in stone, and many would feel injustice. An old friend of the series will also appear in this episode to help find the truth.

Heading towards the end…
I have the impression that in the last season of Fear the Walking Dead many solutions used in The Walking Dead were used, but it’s not a bad thing because it enriched the series a lot. There is a lot going on, but it does not explode in the viewer’s face, and the colors have been adapted to the post-apocalyptic atmosphere. The reappearance of Madison is a definite plus for the whole and a bit of a return to the old days, you can say – the first seasons. The story develops evenly and interestingly, and I myself am curious what will happen next, because the producers have a really wide field to show off; for example, they can turn everything upside down or find the key to help overcome bites. Who knows, the possibilities are many, and the next episodes are very surprising. I hope the last season will be full of explanations and the characters will get a decent ending.
