Chaos is more than just a regular show

Chaos is an innovative audio series created in binaural technology, using 3D sound, based on the novel by Robert Szmidt Szczura Wrocławia. Chaos . The radio play is a production of Empik Go , an application with 3 episodes currently available. The plot tells about the first twelve hours after the outbreak of the deadly plague. The authentic story of smallpox ruling in Wrocław in 1963 turns into a terrifying fictional nightmare, creating an alternative story straight from World War Z. The action resembles the events of the Second World War. There is a roar of shooting in the streets, ZOMO and KBW units enter the city. On the campus of the Wrocław University of Technology, a quarantine zone is created, where potentially healthy citizens can stay, and the area of ​​Grunwaldzki Square is transformed into a real crematorium for the infected.

Thanks to the technique used with the 3D sound effect, we become eyewitnesses of monstrous events. We passively observe the chaos that grows stronger hour by hour, the almost desperate attempts to contain the plague by the civil militia, and the people who rise from the dead devouring those who are still alive. We experience the effects of the situation first-hand, as participants of the prevailing death around us, we feel permanent fear, putting us in a state of the highest readiness to protect our own life. Chaosis not an ordinary audio series. Thanks to the star cast, the program becomes one great transcendent experience. Our sensory impressions are heightened and the mind is contemplated. During the listening session, we can confidently close our eyes and let ourselves be carried away by the terrifying story. We will hear the slightest murmur of a zombie coming out from behind the bushes, the sound of broken glass, the bang after the shot or the accelerated breathing of militiamen fighting the horde of living dead bodies. The story will be presented first-hand by famous Polish actors who play the main characters. We will hear, among others: Piotr Adamczyk, Jacek Braciak, Marian Dziędziel, Łukasz Simlat and Krzysztof Czeczot. Such a wonderful, talented group ensures good, several hours of entertainment.

The first half of the series (13 episodes in total) is a real turn towards the classics of the genre, movies and zombist literature. Fast, dynamic action and, above all, accessible, fluid narration are the greatest advantages of this audio horror movie. Their dedication and attempts at an unusual empathy for the characters are additionally intensified thanks to the technique used with 3D sound, which takes the audience literally and figuratively to the land of nightmare.
