The film is one of the best horror 2017 years. In 2019, Pennywise returned to the screens in To: Chapter 2 . Now, thanks to the Galapagos publishing house, you can add the second part of the production based on the novel by Stephen King to your collection.
Clown vs. Suckers
In To: Chapter 2 we return to the city of Derry, where kids go missing every 27 years. The problem seems to have been resolved after a group – called “The Suckers” – annihilated Pennywise. It turns out, however, that the alien is still alive and is attacking the inhabitants again. So Mike calls his childhood companions to face the threat again, as promised. Although they are all grown-ups, the terrifying creature does not seem any less terrible to them. Will Beverly, Bill, Ben and the rest of the crew fix the problem for good this time?

It’s time to grow up
The first part of To told us about a group of kids struggling not only with Pennywis, but also with everyday problems, such as school bullies or problems with their parents. Admittedly, the film was largely nostalgic. We were able to go back to the 1980s there, and reminisce about the small groups we used to hang out with in our childhood. In To: Chapter 2our heroes are adults now, their problems are now work, taxes and problems with their own children. And while the first part was a great horror movie, the second became even more serious, dark and bloody. The murderous clown sinks his teeth into his victims much more often without leaving any understatements. More characters die on the screen and the antagonist grows stronger. By the way, it was shown that age is not important. Everyone is afraid of something. The demons of the past and the present may haunt us, but we can tremble in the future as well. And if we don’t face our fears in time, they can destroy us. All this makes us more eager to cheer on Bill and his pack. We want them to succeed and we feel a bond with them. Their fate can also motivate us and push us to act.

Stephen King in action
If you haven’t watched This: Chapter 2 yet or the movie has made such an impression that you would love to come back to it, now is your chance. The Galapagos publishing house has released a DVD with this title. You will be able to choose whether you want to watch the English version with Polish subtitles or if you prefer to listen to the voiceover. Of course, there are also several other languages to choose from. The sound quality offered to the recipient is Dolby Digital 5.1. The entire menu is written in English, but navigating through it is so simple that you can manage it even without knowing a foreign language. This time the edition was enriched with a special supplement entitled In search of the lights of death. In fact, it is over six minutes of footage from the set, in which the author of the prototype – Stephen King – talks about where he got his inspiration from when creating characters and dialogues. In addition, we can see how the writer did on the set. Actor James McAvoy and director Andy Muschietti talk about cooperation with King. Certainly, such a supplement to the production will appeal to fans of the book and the film. The only regret is that the material is so short.
