What’s next for Daredevil and Kingpin in the MCU?

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio returned to the roles of Matt Murdock / Daredevil and Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk. They appeared in the movie Spider-Man: No way home and the series Hawkeye respectively . Now the actors have decided to comment on their future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans of Charli Cox as Daredevil were thrilled when their favorite hero returned to Marvel’s films in Spider-Man: No Way Home . Although it only got one short scene, it still aroused viewers’ hopes for more of his participation in subsequent productions. In a new interview with HeyUGuys, the actor revealed that he has some idea of what’s next with his character, even confirming that he will be returning to the MCU soon.

At this point, I know that I will be involved in the next productions in some way. Otherwise, it would be a bit of a weird moment for one Spider-Man scene. For now, however, I don’t know much, but I’m still very excited about it. There is a chance that this could be a role for the next ten years of my life.

While Cox already has some information on his screen future, his Daredevil partner Vincent D’Onofrio is still wondering what the future of his Kingpin might be.

At the moment I cannot comment on any fact as Marvel Studios just doesn’t tell me anything. I just hope to see the continuation of my cooperation. I know that in the series finale, Hawkeye Echo must have shot Kingpin. But when I walked away from Daredevil, at first I thought: Maybe we’ll be able to come back somehow. But then I decided that I was leaving for good, but I still had hope. When fans started insisting on Fisk’s return, I felt my chance and I succeeded. I hope that it will be similar now.

Recall that in comics, as in the  Hawkeye series , Echo also shot Fisk in the head. This, however, did not kill the villain, it only made him blind for a while. Perhaps we will see such a scenario also in MCU productions.
