Catarina Claes is on the attack again! Beware of her lump of earth, a paper serpent and the ability to wield a sword, because only one wrong decision is enough to … a bad ending in which the heroine will die or be exiled. Let there be no misunderstandings – you and the rest of the world are safe, Catharina is screwed up.
Our heroine, reborn in otome, in the first volume of her adventures, has already determined what potential storylines await her. She also met all the male heroes of the upcoming story, as well as the girls who will take part in it. Based on the meticulous notes of what she remembers about her Fortune Lover gameplay , she also did what she could to prepare the best possible ground for any life-threatening situation. She also took care of an additional profession in case she needed to support herself. So it seems that with a calm head, he can start studying at the Academy of Magic and thus expose himself to confrontation with the main character of the plot: the charming, delicate, wielding the power of light Maria Campbell.
But what is that? Has Catharina’s opponent turned out to be a sweet and modest girl who also bakes insane cookies? After all, you cannot walk past sweets calmly (even when they fell to the ground, because the three-second rule works!). The villain of the story or not, Catharina Claes cannot imagine that she would not defend Marysia!
Cauliflower flower, zucchini flower, cucumber flower
As might be expected, Catharina still plans to survive each of the crises planned for her character, no matter which side they may come from. So she continues her sword fighting training, summoning a lump of earth (evidently her magical abilities do not have much potential) and even creating and throwing a paper snake (for me this is probably the most comical and abstract element of her preparations). Of course, in most situations, the girl is still accompanied by her foster brother Keith (from the male characters it is my favorite so far), although Geordo’s fiancé does not rest on his laurels and also tries to be with the teenager (therefore, there are often sparkling conversations between the guys. which the naive member of the Claes family takes as mere getting along).
Cookies from Marysia
The story in the first volume was a fun introduction, based primarily on introducing new characters. The second part, in turn, tells about the relationship of Miss Claes with her rival assigned in the game. The figure of Marysia is so typical of mewhich, fortunately, does not upset the fact that she is constantly poor and disadvantaged by fate. Catharina (and us too) quickly notices that this modest and hardworking girl is simply likeable, so without hesitation she starts to defend the owner of the light magic. Their relationship is friendly, with a hint of… romance? This is my guess, because Claes, through his exuberant and spontaneous character, steals romantic scenes from boys before he can get to them. I do not hide that it amuses me and I wait for the whole thing to unfold in the direction I put it on.
The second new person in the manga is the chairman of the Student Council, a very charmingly drawn boy (reminds me of Mitsukuni “Honey” Haninozuka from Ouran Host Club ), possibly a hidden path of romance (mentioned in the plot), so I suspect that more of the action from before it appears in subsequent volumes.
The inner rally has made a decision!
The second part of the adventures of the girl reborn in the otome game maintains a comparable level to the first. It is light and fun. Catharina goes crazy and does not normally behave according to conventions, from growing a field on the Academy grounds to eating cakes from the ground. Event frames also include alternating attractive heroes and heroines. You read everything too fast! Fortunately, a short story has been re-included as a bonus chapter. I am definitely looking forward to the next volumes, because you can relax with this comic book.
