The latest addition to the famous MMORPG World of Warcraft , i.e. Dragonflight , may not have stuck the fans in their chairs, but it made a generally good impression on the players and at the moment it is one of the popular ones. Will patch 10.1 make users like him even more?
What certainly appealed to WoW players in the Dragonflight add-onthey’re just dragons! However, not to generalize, an interesting storyline should be mentioned here, in which we will perform tasks not only for the Drakthyr race, but also for the most powerful reptiles of Azeroth, such as Wrathion, Nozdormu or Queen Alexstrasza herself. Also the introduction of the dragon race as one of the playable races and the addition of the evoker class for them did a good job of popularity. Many, however, consider “dragon riding” to be the best, i.e. the opportunity to receive several interesting mounts, improve them, modify them, and finally dragon races. Maybe a little less, but the new talent trees are also appreciated, giving players much more choice in character development and an interesting new land that is worth spending some time exploring. Fans also praise the much greater freedom in the game.
However, even good add-ons eventually start to get boring, and Blizzard can’t allow that. That’s why the first major gameplay update patch was recently released. What do we get with it? Of course, the further development of the story related to dragons comes to the fore. So we can get to know its continuation by completing subsequent missions and supporting dragons. A new land has also been unlocked – Zaralek Cavern. Interestingly, it takes us to the underground to show us a race resembling humanoid moles – the Niffen. Maybe their representatives are not beautiful, but they are very nice and funny. The first minutes spent in their company will make you fall in love with them! Of course, these are not the only inhabitants of this place that you will encounter on your way. And though you will move to underground caves,
The new patch is of course also a new season, both for players who like PvP and those who prefer PvE. The first of them will be able to get new items bought for honor and conquests. This means more fun in arenas and battlegrounds for them. The latter will be able to go to the “Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible” raid, where they will face numerous opponents, including the leader of The Sundered Flame faction – dracthyr Sarkareth. Of course, in addition to the possibility of defeating him and obtaining achievements, as well as prestige among other players, there will be a chance to hunt items, recipes or mounts.
But that’s still not all! There will also be a new World Boss on the world map (Fire Dragon Fyrrak Assaults), and with it a chance to strengthen your gear even for those who are not particularly fond of raids or arenas. Players of races such as Worgen, Nightborn and Dark Iron Dwarf also have new character customization options. Several changes have also been made to the talents of individual classes to improve the balance between players.
Of course, there are also a whole range of side quests and new achievements waiting for the players. This means that we should not complain about boredom. But will we want to stay in Azeroth for a long time? We’ll probably find out soon enough!
