Poznań Game Arena is the largest and most prestigious computer games and multimedia entertainment fair. The event returns to the calendar of events organized by Grupa MTP after a one-year break caused by the pandemic. As usual, many attractions await the hungry visitors.
PGA is primarily video games. The organizers assure that during this year’s edition of the fair you will be able to play nearly 100 titles. In addition to hot news, there will also be titles from indie developers that will appear in the well-known Indie Game Zone. The players will have at their disposal modern equipment, which will be taken care of by the technological partners of the event – NTT and Genesis. Inea, in turn, will take care of fast and stable links that will avoid lagging. Among the titles that will appear on the PGA, the latest Far Cry 6 should certainly be highlighted . The range of games will be much wider, however, and everyone, even the youngest player, will find something for themselves.
The exhibition from Trovo also promises to be interesting. This amazing truck will contain 11 computers, a big stage and an even bigger screen. On prepared gaming stands you will play, among others. in Fall Guys , Back4Blood , or Pokemon Unite . In addition, you will have numerous opportunities to win Trovo gadgets and other attractive gifts. It doesn’t stop with PGA games. A novelty at Poznań Game Arena will be the presence of the League of Legends Village, created by the Project: League team. Their arsenal includes many attractions reminiscent of the world created by Riot – a dragon bust on a natural scale, banners of the brave Runeterra factions and elements of the champions’ salary. For those who like active fun, the Village has also prepared a large set of competitions.
Like two years ago, Monster Energy will appear at the Poznań gaming fair. The stand will be attended by the beloved Monster Girls, who will be handing out T-shirts at selected times, and popular streamers supported by Monster Energy. The stand will also feature a Monster truck, a car with which PGA participants were still taking pictures of themselves in 2019. There will also be Monster Energy drinks for thirsty gaming fans covering the kilometers during the event. Numerous competitions have also been prepared for people who would like to test their skills.
Fans of racing and fast driving will, in turn, be pleased with the presence of the SIM-CENTER brand – the largest virtual racing salon in Poland, created for both professionals and people who want to start their adventure in simracing. Simulators guarantee the highest dose of impressions and adrenaline, successfully transferring rally sport into a virtual dimension! The 5DOF simulator, which can be tested during the PGA, stands out on the sim-racing market in terms of technical performance. Visitors will be able to test themselves on realistically reproduced tracks around the world.
The fair is also a series of interesting accompanying events. An inseparable element of the PGA is, for example, the Cosplay Show, i.e. a prestigious competition between 25 finalists of the competition for the best outfit and the incarnation of a character from a game, movie or broadly understood pop culture. At the same time, the Game Industry Conference will also be held, i.e. an industry conference addressed to the broadly understood gamedev.
This year’s edition of the PGA will be preceded by the Socially Involved Games Festival, the focal point of which will be Game Jam. The event is aimed at game developers, regardless of age or skill level. Their task will be to create a game on a given topic within 48 hours. The theme of Game Jamu focuses on important issues such as the natural environment and sustainable development. Participation in the event is free of charge.
During the Festival itself, on October 21, you will be able to see how games can ask questions about the past, learn about the mechanisms that govern society, and what games can have to say about health and disease.
