Recent changes by Warner Bros. Discovery has made fans worry about the fate of not only the emerging DC projects, but also those that are already available on HBO Max. However, we have good news – shows like Harley Quinn and Titans can weather this storm. TVLine said on Tuesday that while DC is making tough film decisions under DC Films’ 10-year plan, their offering remains a “huge priority” for HBO Max.

According to the report, the fourth season of the animated Harley Quinn is “a very good deal” for HBO Max, and the upcoming fourth season of Titans is getting very good feedback. As for the other DC series, Pennyworth ‘s third season is reportedly waiting for its release date, and James Gunn insisted that Peacemaker ‘s second season would continue. There was no information about the Doom Patrol, which was refurbished last year.

All of this is good news for HBO Max as well as for DC fans. Last week, HBO Max dropped the Batgirl movie , which was supposed to be available on the platform. Moreover, HBO Max and Discovery + are expected to cooperate next year. It has also recently been confirmed that at least one DC project, Strange Tales , has been quietly canceled, though this was reportedly prior to the WarnerMedia-Discovery merger.

The report also identified other good news for DC fans. The work on the Green Lantern HBO Max series is reportedly going in the right direction. Green Lantern will be set at multiple points in time and starring Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story, Deep Water ) as Guy Gardner, and Irvine ( War Horse, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again ) as Alan Scott, with Tobias Menzies ( Game of Thrones, The Crown) as Sinestro. Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, Killowog and a new character named Bree Jarta are also set to appear on the show. Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim are co-writers and executive producers, with Seth Grahame-Smith serving as showrunner and co-writer / executive producer.
