This week, four new products will be screened in Cinema City cinemas. Mad Max director George Miller will surprise everyone with his new film Three Thousand Years of Longing . There will also be a proposal for fans of a light thrill – Bodies, Bodies, Bodies , directed by Halin Reijn. Another novelty is the Polish war movie Eaglets. Grodno ’39 by Krzysztof Łukaszewicz. And for families and children, the touching family story of King will be directed. My friend David Moreau the lion.

A real fairy tale for adult viewers, this is the best way to describe the film Three Thousand Years of Longing . It is a colorful spectacle telling a melancholic story of loneliness. Dr. Alithea Binnie, played by the unique Tilda Swinton, is a down-to-earth person. She has long stopped dreaming and looking for happiness, in life she is guided by skepticism. Despite this, or maybe for this reason, it is on her way that a genie (Idris Elba) appears, making her three dreams come true. Alithea, by virtue of her full awareness and ancient knowledge, is not tempted to express her desires. To encourage her, the genie guides her through her own unheard of memories of her activities. Eventually, Alithea manages to make a wish that doesn’t end up as they both would like.

Bodies, Bodies, Bodies are a surprising combination of slasher and the beloved Euphoria with humor in the background. The unpredictable story of Generation Z, telling the story of a group of friends spending a weekend together in a luxurious mansion far away from people. When it turns out that they have no range, they start playing an innocent-sounding game that combines hide-and-seek with a party mafia. One person is the murderer and the rest must guess their identity. From then on, the fun goes as it shouldn’t be.

Eaglets. Grodno ’39 is a war film about the Soviet invasion of Poland. It is a dramatic picture of the war as seen through the eyes of a twelve-year-old boy, Leon. On the day of the beginning of the school year, September 1, 1939, the school building of Leoś and his colleagues is bombed, and two weeks later the Red Army plans to capture Grodno. The city’s defenders begin to participate in the heroic fight. Among them, many children and adolescents became victims of the disgusting cruelty of the occupiers. In the film, we will be surprised by the excellent performance and maturity of actors of the young generation, in the wonderful company of such names as: Bartłomiej Topa, Jowita Budnik or Leszek Lichota.

King. My friend the lionan adventure film, thanks to which we will discover the power of true friendship. It is an adventure full of humor and emotions, telling the adventures of a hit teenager, her inattentive brother and a lost little lion cub. King, because that is the name of the new four-legged friend, unexpectedly finds himself in the house of Ines and Alex. He is wanted all over France and is in danger because he is treated as an aggressive fugitive. The siblings decide to help him and take him to his real home. Only one person can support them in this difficult and crazy idea – Grandpa Max. Together they set off on a journey full of emotions and surprises. This is a real movie adventure for the whole family! The screening is included in the Cinema City family offer, which allows adults to purchase tickets at reduced prices.

The upcoming weekend (10-11/09) will also see a pre-premiere screening of the movie: Tedi and the Emerald Plaque , another title that will enrich the Family Offer. And also special screenings of Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva , Bollywood hit (09-11.09), in 2D and 3D versions, in selected Cinema City locations.
